History

In 1970, Postillon Bar was launched by Leo de Klein – a small business aspiring growth. And this goal was achieved! Back in the 1970s, there was no other sex club in the farther surroundings – thus the first years were marked by pioneering. It was due to Postillon Bar’s success that the concept was quickly copied by many, and more and more clubs were opened nearby. However, at no point Postillon Bar’s turnover was affected thereby – our service range has always been of better and higher quality...

In order to bring the business sector – which used to suffer from a bad reputation – back on track again, Leo de Klein became active member of various national organizations. Much progress has been made ever since the profession has been legalized – however, it was a long, winding road to then.

In 2004, Leo decided to hand the business over to a successor. But only soon after it turned out that change does not always mean improvement.

In September 2008, he took control over the business again – this time being supported by his young wife who holds much of experience in this business. He will make Postillon Bar an attractive and lushly establishment again, and ensure this is what it remains to be. The basic concept is not very sophisticated: respect – in particular for the ladies who offer their services at our bar – is one of Postillon Bar’s basic principles.

We strive to achieve a level in quality and luxury, which is comparable to the one featured by a 5-star hotel. We offer our guests VIP treatment at reasonable prices.

It’s not without a reason that in 2002, Postillon Bar was rated amongst one of the Netherlands’ top 10 bars by a magazine. After it has been renovated and adapted to meet the latest standards – in the course of which one room was turned into a non-smoking facility - Postillon Bar has been reopened to welcome its guests.
